3. Services Provided

Aisoni Co. provides professional stone installation and renovation services, including but not limited to:

  • Kitchen countertop installation and renovation
  • Bathroom stone work and renovation
  • Fireplace installation and repair
  • Patio and pool area stone work
  • Tile backsplash installation
  • Commercial stone installation
  • Stone repair and restoration services
  • Custom stone fabrication

4. Service Agreements and Contracts

4.1 Written Agreements

All work performed by Aisoni Co. will be governed by a written contract or work order that specifies:

  • Scope of work and materials to be provided
  • Project timeline and completion dates
  • Total cost and payment schedule
  • Warranty terms and conditions
  • Change order procedures

4.2 Estimates and Quotes

Estimates and quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on actual site conditions, material availability, and any changes requested by the customer.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Schedule

Payment terms will be specified in each individual contract. Typical payment structure includes:

  • Deposit required upon contract signing
  • Progress payments based on project milestones
  • Final payment due upon project completion and customer approval

5.2 Late Payments

Late payments may be subject to interest charges and may result in work stoppage until payment is brought current. We reserve the right to place a lien on the property for unpaid balances.

6. Materials and Workmanship

6.1 Material Selection

Customers are responsible for:

  • Final approval of all materials, colors, and patterns
  • Understanding that natural stone variations are normal and expected
  • Inspecting and approving materials before installation begins

6.2 Quality Standards

All work will be performed in accordance with industry standards and local building codes. We maintain high standards of craftsmanship and use quality materials from reputable suppliers.

7. Warranties

7.1 Workmanship Warranty

We provide a one (1) year warranty on our workmanship from the date of project completion. This warranty covers:

  • Defects in installation
  • Structural failures due to improper installation
  • Seam separation or joint failures

7.2 Material Warranties

Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and will be passed through to the customer. We do not warrant:

  • Natural variations in stone color, pattern, or texture
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear
  • Damage from impacts, heat, or chemical exposure
  • Settling or movement of the structure

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
  • Remove personal belongings and furniture as needed
  • Ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available as required
  • Obtain necessary permits (unless otherwise agreed)
  • Provide accurate measurements and specifications
  • Be present for material selection and final inspection
  • Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or inconvenience.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather conditions, material shortages, labor disputes, government regulations, or other unforeseeable events.

11. Changes and Modifications

Any changes to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges and time extensions. Change orders must be signed by both parties before work proceeds.

12. Cancellation Policy

Project cancellation terms will be specified in individual contracts. Generally:

  • Cancellation before material ordering: Deposit may be refundable minus administrative costs
  • Cancellation after material ordering: Customer responsible for ordered materials and work completed
  • Cancellation during project: Customer responsible for all work completed and materials purchased

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Bergen County, New Jersey, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney's fees and costs.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
